Work Model: Remote
The Associate Infrastructure Admin plays a key supporting role in implementing, monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Hyland's IT Infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is eager to learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience across a broad range of infrastructure systems — with guidance and support from experienced team members every step of the way.

Respond to requests related to basic systems and troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, applying best practices in problem resolution under direct oversight from team members.

Assist with projects involving installations, upgrades, and modernization of servers and systems.

Assist with audits of servers and environments to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Provide support for Infrastructure systems including server maintenance, storage, networking, database administration, network security, messaging, directory services, server virtualization, and monitoring.

Compose internal documentation with direct oversight from team members, accurately reflecting processes and system configurations.

Participate in the maintenance, testing, and execution of the disaster recovery plan while continuously growing knowledge and staying current with best practices and market trends.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Knowledge of the principles of systems administration.

Strong communication skills — able to speak and write with ease, clarity, and impact using a style appropriate to the subject and audience.

Demonstrated ability to write concise, logical, and grammatically correct documentation.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.) as needed.

Familiarity with server maintenance, storage, and networking concepts.

Exposure to database administration, network security, or directory services.

Basic understanding of server virtualization and monitoring tools and practices.

Eagerness to grow knowledge and stay current with best practices and market trends in IT infrastructure.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while operating effectively under direct oversight and guidance.
