About the Role
We are building an algorithmic trading system that processes live market data to form candles, generates technical signals, and places automated orders via the Zerodha Kite Connect API. We're looking for an entry-level Python developer to help improve this system, build new features, and work on live trading logic.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain Python modules that process live market tick data
- Work on candle-formation logic (OHLC bucketing) and technical indicators (moving averages, crossovers)
- Contribute to the FastAPI backend and WebSocket-based real-time data streaming
- Test and improve trading signal generation, order placement, and risk management logic
- Debug issues and keep the codebase clean and maintainable
- Work closely with the senior developer/founder and participate in code reviews
Required Skills
- Python — strong fundamentals (functions, OOP, error handling)
- Pandas — comfortable with DataFrames, rolling calculations, and data manipulation
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and WebSockets
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub
- Strong logical thinking and debugging ability
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
