Job Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all electrical systems and equipment in the chilli processing unit. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply and smooth functioning of production machinery and utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, panels, motors, starters and industrial equipment.
- Attending electrical breakdowns and ensuring minimum production downtime.
- Checking and maintaining grinders, pulverizers, conveyors, packing machines and other electrical equipment.
- Monitoring electrical panels, MCC panels, control systems and power distribution systems.
- Conducting preventive maintenance of motors, pumps, compressors and factory electrical systems.
- Identifying electrical faults and rectifying issues safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring proper earthing, electrical safety and compliance with factory safety standards.
- Maintaining electrical tools, instruments and spare parts inventory.
- Assisting during installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical systems.
- Coordinating with production and maintenance teams for uninterrupted plant operations.
- Maintaining records of maintenance activities, power failures and repairs.
- Ensuring proper functioning of lighting systems, generators and utility electrical equipment.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance
- Understanding of motors, panels and control circuits
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and electrical standards
- Ability to work under production pressure
Qualification:
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical or relevant technical qualification.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
