Location – Bengaluru (Koramangala)
Education: B.Sc / M.Sc. in Microbiology (Mandatory) . A valid DMLT or PGDMLT certification along with B.Sc Microbiology is highly preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in clinical processing, pathology, or microbiology labs. Direct experience working under biosafety cabinets and performing manual pipetting is preferred.
Technical Skills: Mastery of manual micro-pipetting, centrifugation nuances, blood smear preparation, and aseptic techniques.
Soft Skills: High level of precision, focus under pressure during live clinical procedures, and strong communication skills for patient interaction.
Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi. Proficiency in local languages (Marathi/Gujarati) is a strong advantage.
Job Summary - We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to support our growing operations. The successful candidate will be trained in the USA FDA-compliant patented technology, a trusted alternative treatment to surgery for orthopedic and spine conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-precision manual processing of autologous blood and tissue samples strictly within a Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC) to guarantee absolute sterility and prevent environmental contamination.
- Demonstrate exceptional manual dexterity using mechanical micro-pipettes to accurately isolate and extract delicate cellular layers (such as the buffy coat/platelet fractions) post-centrifugation without disturbing adjacent layers.
- Maintain, prepare, and sanitize the Biosafety hood before and after processing cycles, utilizing strict sterile handling techniques and UV/chemical sterilization protocols.
- Demonstrate strong competency and a gentle approach in blood collection (phlebotomy), ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients (especially senior citizens).
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, instruments, and automated analyzers. Monitor inventory levels and ensure supplies/specialized kits are stocked and within expiry dates.
- Follow safety protocols, bio-medical waste (BMW) management guidelines, and internal quality control procedures to ensure compliance with laboratory and clinic standards.
- Conduct laboratory procedures strictly as per standard protocols and collaborate effectively with clinical staff, doctors, and other departments for seamless patient care.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
