Role Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations, driving operational efficiency, supporting profitability, managing cross-functional coordination, and delivering exceptional customer and stakeholder experiences. This role requires strong leadership, process management, problem-solving abilities, and ownership of end-to-end operational activities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Support & Business Growth
- Collaborate with leadership to support revenue growth across multiple business verticals.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and business expansion.
- Participate in strategic planning and review meetings with senior management.
- Support reporting, analysis, and business performance tracking.
2. Profitability & Cost Management
- * Assist in planning and monitoring departmental budgets and operational expenses.
- * Track expenses and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- * Ensure accurate and timely operational and financial data updates.
- * Maintain operational discipline and support profitability improvement initiatives.
3. Customer Satisfaction & Experience
- * Ensure high customer satisfaction through consistent service quality.
- * Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions.
- * Oversee customer grievance handling and ensure timely resolution.
- * Establish systems for continuous customer engagement and retention.
4. Brand Communication & Quality Control
- * Review operational communications and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- * Coordinate with marketing, content, and design teams for smooth execution of initiatives.
- * Ensure consistency in customer-facing communication and service delivery.
5. Partner & Stakeholder Management
- * Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and collaborators.
- * Ensure smooth communication and coordination with stakeholders.
- * Support partner engagement, recognition, and collaboration initiatives.
- * Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
6. Product & Inventory Management
- * Ensure availability and proper management of products and inventory.
- * Oversee order management processes and fulfillment coordination.
- * Monitor vendor coordination, procurement, and payment processes.
- * Ensure proper documentation, stock management, and transaction verification.
7. Event Operations & Execution
- * Plan, coordinate, and oversee operational execution of workshops, webinars, health camps, community events, and corporate programs.
- * Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
- * Manage event logistics including registrations, materials, resources, staffing, and scheduling.
- * Ensure timely execution of pre-event, on-event, and post-event activities.
- * Monitor event budgets, vendor payments, and operational compliance.
- * Conduct event reviews and implement improvements for future programs.
8. Operational Excellence
- * Ensure efficient utilization of organizational resources and assets.
- * Lead regular operational review meetings and reporting processes.
- * Monitor team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- * Resolve operational and technical issues in coordination with relevant teams.
- * Continuously improve systems, processes, workflows, and reporting efficiency.
9. Governance & Compliance
- * Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and internal policies.
- * Monitor compliance across operations, vendors, and documentation.
- * Support implementation of taxation, audit, and SOP compliance systems.
- * Minimize operational risks and ensure ethical business practices.
10. Talent Development & Training
- * Support creation and implementation of SOPs and operational frameworks.
- * Facilitate training programs and onboarding processes.
- * Ensure team members are equipped with operational, technical, and behavioral competencies.
- * Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and performance improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- * Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- * 4–8 years of experience in operations, administration, event management, or business management roles.
- * Strong operational planning and execution skills.
- * Good understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- * Excellent leadership, coordination, and team management abilities.
- * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- * Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency.
- * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- * Proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and operational systems.
