Key Responsibilities1. Patient Care
- Provide proper nursing care to admitted patients.
- Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and overall health status regularly.
- Maintain patient comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times.
- Attend emergency cases promptly.
2. Medication Administration
- Administer medicines and injections as prescribed by doctors.
- Maintain proper medication records.
- Ensure correct dosage, timing, and route of administration.
- Observe and report any adverse drug reactions immediately.
3. Doctor Assistance
- Assist doctors during examination, procedures, and emergency management.
- Prepare patients for surgeries, procedures, and investigations.
- Follow doctor’s instructions carefully and accurately.
4. Monitoring & Documentation
- Maintain nursing notes, intake-output chart, vital charts, and treatment records properly.
- Update patient records in hospital software/registers.
- Report any change in patient condition to duty doctor immediately.
5. Infection Control & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control practices in ward/ICU/OT.
- Follow biomedical waste management protocols.
- Ensure sterilization and proper handling of medical instruments.
6. Emergency & Critical Care
- Handle emergency situations efficiently.
- Maintain readiness of emergency trolley, oxygen, suction, and emergency medicines.
- Assist in CPR and critical patient management whenever required.
7. Coordination with Departments
- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, billing, and front office staff.
- Ensure timely investigations and treatment for patients.
8. Admission & Discharge Process
- Assist in patient admission and discharge procedures.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
9. Patient & Attendant Communication
- Communicate politely and professionally with patients and attendants.
- Explain basic nursing procedures and instructions clearly.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
10. Ward Management
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines and consumables in ward.
- Inform seniors regarding shortages or equipment issues.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
11. Duty Discipline
- Report on duty on time as per roster.
- Maintain proper nursing uniform and professional behavior.
- Perform night duty, Sunday duty, and emergency duty as assigned by management.
12. Additional Responsibilities
- Attend hospital meetings, training sessions, and fire safety drills.
- Follow NABH, CGHS, and hospital policies and protocols.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by hospital management.
Required Qualification
- GNM Diploma / Registered Nurse
- Valid Nursing Registration Certificate

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹44,723.03 per month
