Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of industrial construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality execution, cost control, safety compliance and effective coordination with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling large-scale industrial civil construction projects and should be capable of independently managing project execution from planning through completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for end-to-end project execution, from mobilization and planning to completion and handover.
- Plan, monitor and control project activities to ensure completion within the approved time, cost, quality and safety parameters.
- Review and interpret GFC drawings, structural drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural consultants, subcontractors, vendors and internal departments for smooth project execution.
- Lead and supervise the site engineering and execution team, ensuring clear allocation of responsibilities and effective manpower utilization.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, look-ahead plans, work programs and execution strategies.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly progress against planned targets and take corrective action wherever required.
- Ensure timely availability and effective utilization of manpower, materials, machinery and other resources.
- Supervise execution of civil and structural works including earthwork, excavation, foundations, RCC works, structural works, flooring, roads, drainage, utilities and other industrial infrastructure works.
- Coordinate with PEB, MEP, electrical, mechanical and other agencies to ensure proper sequencing and integration of works.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors for productivity, quality, safety and adherence to project schedules.
- Ensure execution is carried out strictly as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC and Safety teams to maintain required quality and safety standards and minimize NCRs and rework.
- Identify project risks, delays and execution bottlenecks and implement appropriate recovery and mitigation plans.
- Monitor project quantities, material consumption, productivity and overall cost control.
- Coordinate with the commercial/accounts team for measurement, billing, certification, variations and subcontractor payments.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with site teams, contractors and consultants and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Maintain and review DPR, WPR, MPR, progress reports, inspection records and other project documentation.
- Liaise with clients and consultants for approvals, inspections, technical clarifications and resolution of site-related issues.
- Ensure timely completion of testing, snagging, punch-point closure, documentation and project handover.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and highlight critical issues requiring intervention.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- 15+ years of overall experience in civil construction/project execution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager / Project Head / equivalent leadership role preferred.
- Proven experience in handling industrial construction projects such as factories, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, plants, commercial/industrial buildings or similar projects.
- Candidates with experience in EPC / turnkey industrial projects will be preferred.
- Strong exposure to RCC, structural works, foundations, industrial flooring, roads, drainage and allied civil works.
- Experience in managing multiple contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning and execution.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings.
- Good understanding of BOQ, quantities, billing, rate analysis and cost control.
- Knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning and progress monitoring.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of MS Project / Primavera P6 will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to independently manage a project site and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates who have successfully handled large-scale industrial construction projects and possess strong experience in project execution, contractor management, planning, quality, safety and client/consultant coordination will be preferred.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
