Job Description – E3D Piping & Layout Modeller (4–7 Years)

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical
Experience: 4–7 years in Piping Design, Plant Layout and 3D Modelling
Role Summary
Experienced E3D Piping & Layout Modeller with strong AVEVA E3D expertise to support Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Refinery and EPC projects. Responsible for 3D piping modelling, plant layouts, equipment arrangements, isometrics, MTO generation and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D piping models, plant layouts and equipment layouts using AVEVA E3D.
- Perform piping routing, equipment modelling and clash detection.
- Prepare GA drawings, piping isometrics and MTOs.
- Interpret P&IDs and engineering inputs for 3D model development.
- Develop plot plans, equipment arrangements and piping layouts ensuring accessibility, safety and constructability.
- Design pipe supports, racks and equipment connectivity layouts.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.
- Support stress analysis activities and participate in model reviews.
- Generate project deliverables from E3D and update models based on site/as-built inputs.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of piping design and 3D modelling experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of PDMS, SP3D, AutoCAD and Plant 3D.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Refinery, Petrochemical or Chemical projects.
- Good understanding of P&IDs, plant layouts, piping layouts and routing practices.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME B16 series, ANSI standards and piping specifications.
- Experience in pipe supports, nozzle orientation, isometric extraction, MTO generation and model reviews.
- Familiarity with clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to stress analysis coordination.
- Experience in Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
- Experience in Onshore and Offshore facilities.
- Knowledge of laser scan and point cloud integration.
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
