Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our automobile dealership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, understanding customer needs, presenting suitable vehicle options, and achieving sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers visiting the showroom or contacting the dealership.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
- Explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, financing options, warranties, and after-sales services.
- Follow up with leads generated through walk-ins, referrals, online inquiries, and marketing campaigns.
- Negotiate pricing and close sales transactions professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, competitor offerings, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, and service departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in automobile sales, retail sales, or customer-facing sales roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to understand and explain technical vehicle features.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
