We are looking for a highly organized Global Quality Coordinator to support our Global Quality Management team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with international teams to standardize quality processes, coordinate audits, manage engineering changes, and support digital transformation initiatives across multiple manufacturing plants.
About the Role
As a Global Quality Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our Global Quality Management System (QMS). You will coordinate quality initiatives across international locations, ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ISO 9001, and support the implementation of standardized quality processes.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong automotive quality experience who enjoy process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and working in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management
- Coordinate global Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Organize and facilitate change review meetings with global stakeholders.
- Monitor implementation of engineering and process changes across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Ensure timely updates to engineering drawings, FMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
- Track change implementation and escalate delays when required.
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Manage and maintain the Global Document Control process.
- Develop, review, and standardize Quality Procedures, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Process Documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Maintain the Global Quality SharePoint and document management system.
Audit Management
- Coordinate global Internal and Process Audit programs.
- Plan and support IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 audits.
- Conduct remote and on-site audits as required.
- Monitor corrective actions and verify closure of audit findings.
- Support external certification and customer audits.
Quality Performance & Reporting
- Develop and maintain global quality KPIs and dashboards.
- Consolidate quality performance data including:
- Customer Complaints
- Internal Scrap
- Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
- Audit Results
- Prepare management reports and identify quality trends.
- Support leadership with data-driven quality improvement initiatives.
FMEA & Risk Management
- Coordinate Design and Process FMEA activities across global manufacturing sites.
- Review FMEAs and ensure alignment with Control Plans and Process Documentation.
- Support implementation of AIAG & VDA FMEA methodology.
- Drive continuous improvement of risk management processes.
Process Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain the Global Quality Manual.
- Standardize quality processes across all plants.
- Define process ownership and governance structures.
- Support digitalization and automation initiatives using SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practices throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Automotive Quality Management.
- Certified Internal Auditor – IATF 16949 (Mandatory).
- VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification (Preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working in global or multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of Automotive Quality Management Systems.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
