This is a full-time on-site role based in Okhla for an SEO and Social Media Growth Intern. You will play a key role in improving YMGrad’s organic visibility by working across both on-page and off-page SEO strategies, contributing directly to traffic growth and search rankings.
Office timings are Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
Core Responsibilities:
1. On-Page SEO
- Perform keyword research and search intent analysis
- Optimize website pages, blogs, and landing pages for target keywords
- Improve content structure, internal linking, meta tags, and readability
- Work with content teams to create SEO-driven articles
- Ensure proper use of headings, schema basics, and on-page best practices
2. Off-Page SEO
- Support backlink acquisition strategies (guest posting, outreach, directory submissions)
- Identify link-building opportunities and track backlink profiles
- Assist in competitor backlink analysis
- Monitor domain authority and link performance
3. SEO Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools
- Analyze keyword rankings, traffic trends, and user behavior
4. Social Media
- Assist in repurposing SEO content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Support content creation and posting.
- Align social media efforts with SEO-driven content strategies
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of On-Page SEO (keywords, meta tags, content optimization)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Off-Page SEO (backlinks, outreach, link-building)
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
- Understanding of how search engines rank content
- Proficient with tools like Capcut and Canva.
Good to Have:
- Experience with technical SEO basics (site structure, indexing, page speed)
- Familiarity with content writing for SEO
- Experience with social media platforms and content tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Curiosity to stay updated with SEO trends and algorithm updates
