Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the Raipur location. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing the local market, managing dealer/distributor relationships, achieving sales targets, and identifying new business opportunities.
Candidates with prior experience in the Steel/TMT/Building Materials industry and strong knowledge of the Raipur/Chhattisgarh market will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and expand the dealer/distributor network in the assigned territory.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, and other key customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the local market.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and coordinate with customers for payment follow-ups.
- Conduct regular market visits and prepare sales/market reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatch, and customer requirements.
- Support implementation of sales schemes and promotional activities in the assigned territory.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Graduate/MBA preferred.
- Experience: 4–8 years in Sales/Business Development.
- Industry Experience: Experience in Steel/TMT/Building Materials preferred.
- Good dealer/distributor network and knowledge of the Raipur/Chhattisgarh market.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Target-oriented and comfortable with extensive local market travel.
- Local candidates from Raipur will be preferred.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
