We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated freshers who are interested in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Assembly and Maintenance. The selected candidate will work closely with senior engineers to assemble, install, troubleshoot, and maintain SPM machines while gaining valuable hands-on industrial experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the mechanical assembly of SPM machines as per engineering drawings.
- Support installation and commissioning activities at the factory and customer sites.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of SPM machines.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Assist in fitting, drilling, tapping, alignment, and machine setup.
- Ensure all assembly work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
- Coordinate with Design, Electrical, and Production teams during assembly.
- Prepare basic maintenance and service reports.
Required Skills
- Interest in Mechanical Assembly and Machine Maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and workshop practices.
- Willingness to learn and work on Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to travel for machine installation and service, if required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, and motors.
- Exposure to machine assembly through academic projects or internships is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of industrial safety practices.
