Position Overview We seek a Research Associate to develop and validate AI-driven mental health interventions for youth.
You'll bridge technology implementation and psychological impact, combining chatbot/digital platform development with youth-centered research.
Key Responsibilities
Design and iterate on AI chatbot experiences for mental health support (stress, academic wellbeing)
Create engaging digital content (video, interactive formats) for youth audiences
Conduct user research and gather feedback from youth cohorts
Document product iterations, user engagement metrics, and behavioral outcomes
Contribute to research publications on technology efficacy in mental health
Essential Skills
M.Phil with research focus on mental health, psychology, or digital health interventions
2+ years hands-on experience building mental health technology products or platforms
Demonstrated work with youth populations (12–24 age range)
Experience designing/deploying chatbots or conversational AI
Familiarity with creating social media/digital engagement content
Strong documentation and communication skills
Required Skills
Independent problem-solving on technical implementation + research questions
Ability to translate psychological concepts into user experiences
Published or presented work in digital mental health
Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments
