Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CAD Sales Executive to promote and sell our Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and solutions to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of CAD tools (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.) and a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the software, engineering, or construction industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold-calling, and networking.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, construction firms, manufacturing companies, and educational institutions.
* Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of CAD solutions.
* Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction and addressing technical or sales-related queries.
* Follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, and maintain accurate records in CRM software.
* Provide post-sale support, including onboarding assistance and coordinating with technical teams for implementation.
3. Market & Competitor Analysis
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging CAD technologies.
* Gather customer feedback and collaborate with the marketing team to refine sales strategies.
4. Collaboration & Reporting
* Work closely with the marketing team to generate leads through campaigns, trade shows, and webinars.
* Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Experience:
* Minimum 1–3 years in B2B sales, preferably in CAD software, SaaS, or technical solutions.
* Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) is a strong plus.
* Skills:
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to translate technical features into business benefits.
* Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.
* Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and goal-oriented approach.
Preferred Attributes:
* Existing network in the engineering, architecture, or manufacturing sectors.
* Knowledge of subscription-based software sales models.
Compensation & Benefits:
* INR 25,000/- to INR 30,000/- per month + commission/incentives worth INR 30,000/-. Per month
* Travel allowances.
