- Set up VMC Machines: Prepare machines for production by selecting tools, installing fixtures, and loading CNC programs (G-code/M-code).
- Responsible for Achieving the Production Target and also reduce the cycle time.
- Operation & Monitoring: Operate machines, monitor, and adjust speeds, feeds, and offsets for optimal performance.
- Tool Management: Select, calibrate, and change cutting tools and inserts to ensure precision.
- Quality Control: Perform first-off and in-process inspections using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance, clean machines, and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Documentation: Record machine actions, production logs, and tool changes
