Job Summary
The IVF Patient Counselor serves as the primary point of contact for patients seeking fertility treatment and guidance. The role involves counseling patients and couples regarding infertility treatments, coordinating their treatment journey, maintaining patient relationships, and conducting outreach activities through camps, and outdoor activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Counseling
- Counsel patients and couples regarding infertility, fertility investigations, IVF, IUI, ICSI, donor programs, and other assisted reproductive treatments.
- Explain treatment procedures, timelines, success rates, risks, and costs in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Address patient concerns, doubts, and emotional challenges throughout the treatment process.
- Guide patients regarding required investigations, appointments, and treatment protocols.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and existing patients to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist patients in understanding financial packages, payment options, and treatment plans.
Patient Coordination
- Coordinate appointments between patients and fertility specialists.
- Ensure timely scheduling of investigations, procedures, and follow-up visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records, inquiry logs, and counseling documentation.
- Facilitate communication between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and the embryology team.
Monitor patient progress and provide support throughout the treatment cycle.
Outreach & Camp Activities
Visit health camps, fertility awareness programs, and medical outreach events across Bihar.
- Coordinate camp logistics, patient registrations, and consultation schedules.
Generate and maintain referral networks to increase patient engagement and treatment conversions
Patient Relationship Management
- Build trust and long-term relationships with patients and their families.
- Ensure high patient satisfaction through professional and compassionate communication.
- Handle patient grievances and escalate issues appropriately when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and records.Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; preference for Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Life Sciences.
- Additional certification in counseling, healthcare management, or patient relations will be an advantage.
- Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi, English, and local languages.
- Strong counseling and patient relationship management abilities.
- Ability to explain medical information in a simple and understandable manner.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Bihar
- Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel to camps, outreach programs, partner clinics, throughout Bihar.
- Participation in weekend camps, awareness programs, and promotional activities as required.
- Ability to travel independently and maintain outreach schedules.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
