Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our kitchen team at Southern Avenue. The candidate should have experience in preparing a variety of continental dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook continental dishes as per menu requirements.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are maintained consistently.
- Manage daily kitchen operations for the continental section.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
- Monitor food stock and assist in inventory management.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth workflow and timely service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist in menu planning and introducing new continental dishes when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role.
- Good knowledge of continental cuisine, sauces, grills, pasta, salads, and plating.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and maintain consistency in food preparation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary training or hotel management certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or boutique kitchens preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
