About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Academic Counsellor to join our team in Calicut. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a passion for helping students, and the ability to guide them in choosing the right courses based on their career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about available courses and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate admissions.
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into enrollments.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams for a smooth enrollment process.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Attend educational events, seminars, and promotional activities when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in academic counselling, sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
