We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead critical initiatives within our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, specifically focusing on enhancing our cybersecurity posture, optimizing SOC operations, and deploying cutting-edge security technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies combined with deep expertise in cybersecurity principles and SOC environments. The Project Manager will work closely with security analysts, engineers, incident responders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery that meets business objectives and strengthens our defense capabilities.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, specifically for SOC-related initiatives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates for cybersecurity projects (e.g., SIEM/SOAR deployment, threat intelligence integration, incident response process improvements, compliance projects).
- Lead the planning and implementation of SOC projects, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and cybersecurity standards.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks, particularly those related to cybersecurity threats and operational disruptions.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals, and report on progress to all stakeholders.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between various teams, including SOC analysts, security engineers, IT operations, and business units.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned to improve future project management processes within the SOC.
- Oversee the procurement and integration of new security tools and technologies into the existing SOC infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
