The Dress Outlet is a growing fashion ecommerce brand offering prom dresses, formal dresses, wedding guest dresses, bridesmaid dresses, plus-size dresses, homecoming dresses, and occasion wear. We are looking for a creative, results-driven PR & Brand Growth Manager to increase brand awareness, build media visibility, strengthen our online reputation, and drive sustainable growth.
Role Overview
The PR & Brand Growth Manager will lead public relations, media outreach, influencer collaborations, digital PR, and brand-building initiatives for The Dress Outlet. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in fashion, ecommerce, lifestyle, or consumer brands and be able to secure high-quality media placements, partnerships, backlinks, and brand mentions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute PR and brand growth strategies to increase brand awareness and online visibility.
- Build relationships with journalists, fashion editors, bloggers, influencers, stylists, and media publications.
- Monitor and respond to relevant journalist opportunities through platforms such as HARO/Connectively, Qwoted, Featured, SourceBottle, and Muck Rack.
- Create compelling media pitches, press releases, brand stories, expert quotes, and campaign ideas.
- Secure high-quality media mentions, editorial placements, interviews, product features, and backlinks.
- Plan seasonal PR campaigns around prom season, wedding season, homecoming, formal events, holidays, and fashion trends.
- Identify and manage influencer, affiliate, stylist, and brand partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate with the content, SEO, social media, and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Track competitor PR activity, fashion trends, consumer behavior, and media opportunities.
- Maintain a media outreach database, influencer list, campaign tracker, and placement records.
- Monitor brand mentions, online reputation, backlinks, referral traffic, and campaign performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on PR activities, placements, backlinks, partnerships, traffic, and growth results.
- Support crisis communication and reputation-management activities when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Public Relations, Digital PR, Brand Marketing, Influencer Marketing, or Ecommerce Growth.
- Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, beauty, ecommerce, retail, or consumer brands is preferred.
- Proven experience securing media placements, editorial mentions, backlinks, or influencer collaborations.
- Strong knowledge of HARO/Connectively, Qwoted, Featured, SourceBottle, Muck Rack, or similar PR platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write persuasive pitches and press releases.
- Understanding of SEO, link building, brand mentions, Domain Authority/Domain Rating, and referral traffic.
- Experience using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BuzzStream, Hunter, or spreadsheets/CRM tools.
- Strong research, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and journalist requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a strong understanding of fashion trends and consumer-focused storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing influencer collaborations or affiliate partnerships.
- Existing relationships with fashion, lifestyle, wedding, or ecommerce journalists and publications.
- Experience with Shopify or ecommerce brands.
- Knowledge of US fashion, prom, wedding, and occasion-wear markets.
- Experience managing PR campaigns for seasonal or trend-based products.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
