We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach students of Classes XI & XII. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make computer science concepts engaging through practical learning and project-based teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to senior secondary students in accordance with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
- Deliver lessons on programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, SQL, HTML/CSS, and database management as per the prescribed syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and practical laboratory activities.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab and ensure proper utilization of ICT resources.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, practical examinations, and assignments.
- Guide students in coding competitions, hackathons, Olympiads, and technology-based projects.
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic performance and development.
- Participate in school meetings, training programs, examinations, and co-curricular activities.
- Ensure discipline, student safety, and a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess at least 50% aggregate marks in one of the following qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or Information Technology; OR
- M.Sc. (Computer Science); OR
- MCA; OR
- B.Sc. (Computer Science)/BCA with a relevant postgraduate degree; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications recognized for PGT Computer Science as per applicable educational norms.
Preferred:
- B.Ed. from a recognized university (as applicable to the school's recruitment policy).
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, smart classroom technologies, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience as a PGT Computer Science Teacher in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school.
- Freshers with exceptional academic credentials and strong subject knowledge may also apply.
