We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, taxation compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliation activities for our manufacturing business. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and manufacturing accounting systems along with proficiency in Tally ERP software.
The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical abilities, accuracy in financial reporting, and the capability to coordinate with management, auditors, banks, and statutory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounting related to manufacturing industries including inventory accounting, production accounting, and cost tracking.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and assist in Income Tax compliance.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and statutory ledgers.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records as per company policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and support management in financial analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and company procedures.
- Handle ERP accounting entries and reporting using Tally ERP software.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and Manufacturing Accounting.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com preferred.
- Additional certification in Accounting or Taxation will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
