Deputy Manager - Lead Generation
Job Description
This Inside Sales Deputy Manager role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities with a focus on driving the sales pipeline through effective lead generation and nurturing. This role involves managing the entire sales pipeline, from identifying and qualifying leads to converting them into opportunities. The Deputy Manager Inside Sales will collaborate with the BD team, Strategic marketing team and commercial leadership, to ensure a consistent flow of leads and develop strategies that align with organizational objectives.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
Degree in Life Sciences (MBA preferred)
Additional certifications in sales, business development, or CRM tools are a plus.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in a B2B or global organization.
- Proven experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for lead management and data analysis.
- Familiarity with the Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) sector is an advantage.
- Strong experience with cold calling, email outreach, and digital lead generation strategies.
KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Generation:
- Develop and implement lead generation strategies to drive high-quality leads into the sales pipeline. Utilize multiple channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and digital platforms, to generate interest from potential clients.
Lead Nurturing:
Manage lead nurturing efforts to qualify leads and move them through the sales funnel.
Work closely with marketing to deliver targeted campaigns, emails, and content designed to engage prospects and build relationships over time.
Data Mining for Lead Identification:
Leverage databases, news reports, funding announcements, and other external sources to identify potential prospects.
Continuously mine industry-specific data and intelligence to identify high-value leads and track emerging opportunities.
Sales Pipeline Management:
Collaboration with Commercial and Marketing Teams:
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure proper alignment of lead generation efforts with campaigns. Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding lead quality and suggest improvements based on insights gathered.
Work closely with the sales team to support Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives.
Participate in strategy sessions to align lead generation efforts with sales goals.
CRM Management:
Manage and maintain CRM systems to track interactions with leads, update lead status, and monitor pipeline activities. Ensure data integrity and adherence to sales processes.
Perform regular data cleanup and maintenance to enhance the quality of lead/Contact information.

Proficient in using Salesforce CRM software, sales automation tools and databases
Strong desk research skills to gather relevant industry, competitive, and market data to support lead generation efforts
