Job Description: Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the legal department in the company. The role involve handling legal documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and managing legal processes related to Subpoena (Triaging, creating PDFs, Document review).
Provides administrative support to legal professionals by managing documents, scheduling, and coordinating legal activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Legal teams and agreed SLAs and TAT
Attend calls with External and internal stakeholders to ensure streamlined process
MBR, QBR and Yearly reviews with Client and other Stakeholders
Receive and analyze incoming legal service requests.
Classify matters by type, urgency, and complexity
Assign cases to appropriate legal teams or escalate as necessary.
Monitor case intake queues and ensure timely processing.
Maintain records of triaged matters in a case management system.
Communicate with internal clients or stakeholders to clarify requests.
Ensure compliance with internal protocols and legal procedures.
e-discovery document review for responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality and redactions.
Technical Skills
- Good experience of handling team as Manager
- Basic understanding of law and legal concepts

Ability to identify TAT and resources required

- Exposure to US P&C Insurance Claims Litigation, US Civil procedure, US Courts and legal documentation

Drafting of low complexity motions, orders, releases, settlement agreements and Interrogatories

Responsibilities: Administrative Support
Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
Organize and maintain the filing system for all legal documents (both physical and digital).
Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with regulatory authorities and courts.
Maintain schedules and calendars for legal counsel, setting up meetings and tracking deadlines.
Document Management:
Manage a variety of contracts, agreements (NDA, MSA, SLA), and other legal documents.
Maintain databases and ensure all documents are properly archived and updated in the company�s system.
Prepare and manage corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, and other compliance related documents.
Legal Research:
Conduct basic legal research as required by the legal team, using online resources or legal databases.
Communication:
Act as the point of contact between the legal department and other internal teams (HR, Finance, IT).
Liaise with external law firms, vendors, and government authorities on legal matters.
Draft and send formal legal correspondence on behalf of the legal team.
Contract Management:
Assist in the review and initial screening of contracts and legal documents to ensure compliance with internal policies.
Track contract renewals, expiration dates, and relevant action items.
Compliance & Risk Management Support:
Assist in maintaining corporate records and compliance related documentation.
Support internal audits and regulatory filings.
Ensure the comp adheres to applicable data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and IT related regulatory compliance.
Litigation Support:
Coordinate with legal counsel on ongoing litigation and disputes.
Assist with the preparation of documentation for court proceedings and regulatory submissions.
Schedule court appearances, hearings, and meetings with external counsel when necessary.
Project Management:
Support the legal department in managing legal projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property filings, and contract negotiations.
Ensure all timelines, deadlines, and key deliverables are tracked and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor�s degree in law, business administration, or related field preferred. 2 - 3 Years
