Job Summary
Scope of Responsibilities
- Identify and automate repetitive L1/L2 Run the Bank activities
- Design, develop, and maintain production ready automation solutions
- Integrate automation with monitoring and alerting platforms
- Support incident, problem, and resilience use cases via automation
- Maintain automation runbooks, SOPs, and documentation
- Collaborate with Service Engineers, SREs, and BTB teams
Technical Skills
Mandatory:
- Strong scripting skills: Python and/or Shell (Bash)
- Automation frameworks: Ansible or equivalent
- Linux / Unix operating systems
- Experience integrating automation with monitoring tools
- Understanding of application and middleware operations Desirable:
- Knowledge of banking / financial services environments
- Exposure to resilience, DR, or recovery automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD, API driven automation
4. Process & Governance Alignment
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
- Ability to design automation aligned with audit and control requirements
- Experience operating in regulated environments preferred
Experience Requirements
- 3–6+ years in automation, platform engineering, or production support roles
- Proven delivery of efficiency or stability improvements through automation
