Job Description-Head of Modern Trade
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 +years of experience in Sales, Key A/C, Modern trade, Distribution
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy that drives revenue growth, market share, and market penetration in both established and emerging premium Cosmetics & Skincare markets.
- Lead the sales strategy to elevate brand visibility, consumer engagement, and positioning in the premium Healthcare space, including digital, ATL, and BTL activities.
- Trade Marketing & Channel Development: Oversee trade marketing efforts, ensuring strong collaborations with retailers, and key partners.
- Premium Product Positioning: Ensure that marketing and sales strategies align with the premium nature of the product portfolio, highlighting quality, uniqueness, and brand value.
- Customer & Key Accounts Management: Build, Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts, including modern trade partners, distributors, and ensuring long-term partnerships and loyalty.
- Regional Market Insights: Leverage insights gained from working in different to develop region-specific strategies, adapting national objectives to suit local consumer behaviours and preferences.
- Innovation & Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of category trends, ensuring that the business remains competitive and proactive in addressing shifts in consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- Geographical Exposure: Must have lived and worked in at least two different states in India, with proven knowledge of regional market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of premium Cosmetic & Skincare/Nutracetical market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- P&L Ownership: Strong track record of Scaling business delivering profitability in high-growth environments.
- Analytical & Strategic Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, consumer insights, and data to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
