We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Plantation Manager with extensive expertise in oil palm plantation development, agronomy, farmer engagement, and field operations.
Position Summary
The Plantation Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing oil palm plantation activities across assigned operational areas. The role involves leading field teams, supporting farmers, implementing best agronomic practices, monitoring plantation performance, and ensuring successful development of oil palm cultivation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead oil palm plantation development activities across assigned districts.
- Manage plantation establishment, maintenance, and productivity improvement programs.
- Supervise Field Officers, Agronomists, and Plantation staff.
- Coordinate with farmers for plantation expansion and adoption of best cultivation practices.
- Develop and implement fertilizer, irrigation, pest, and disease management programs.
- Monitor plantation health, growth, and yield performance.
- Conduct farmer training, awareness programs, and technical demonstrations.
- Support nursery development and planting material distribution activities.
- Coordinate Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) harvesting, collection, and logistics operations.
- Liaise with Government departments regarding oil palm development schemes and subsidies.
- Maintain plantation records, field reports, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, sustainability guidelines, and safety practices.
- Assist management in strategic planning for plantation expansion and future processing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plantation Management, Horticulture, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil Palm Plantation Management.
- Proven experience in plantation development, agronomy, farmer engagement, and field operations.
- Strong knowledge of oil palm cultivation practices, nutrient management, pest and disease control, and yield optimization.
- Experience working with oil palm development programs and government schemes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agricultural reporting systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively across operational areas.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in Oil Palm organizations will be given preference.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
