Position Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer at Silico Software Solutions, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web and mobile applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into elegant designs that enhance user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Ensure consistency in visual elements and user interactions across different platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, HCI, or a related field.
- 6 months – 1 year of experience in UI/UX design (internships or freelance experience considered).
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, Design Systems, Responsive Design, Accessibility (WCAG), and Developer Handoff.
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar) are a plus.
- Exposure to SaaS products, AI applications, dashboards, or enterprise software is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, v0, Lovable, Galileo AI, Relume, or similar is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Portfolio is required; case studies are highly preferred.
