Key Responsibilities:
Organizer Discovery and Outreach
- Identify and engage sports tournament organizers across assigned geographies.
- Build and maintain a structured database of organizers and sports communities.
- Reach out through calls, social media, referrals, and in-person meetings.
- Understand how organizers currently manage tournament registrations, payments, promotions, and participant communication.
- Identify challenges and opportunities that our platform can solve.
Platform Demonstrations and Organizer Onboarding
- Conduct online and in-person product demonstrations.
- Clearly explain how our platform simplifies: Tournament listing, Participant registrations, Digital payment collection and tracking
- Address organizer queries and build confidence in the platform.
- Guide organizers through listing and launching their first tournament.
- Ensure organizers become comfortable using the platform independently.
Tournament Activation and Customer Success
- Support organizers during the initial onboarding journey.
- Assist with: Tournament setup, Account configuration, Registration timelines, Entry fee configuration
- Follow up consistently to drive successful registrations.
- Stay closely involved through the organizer’s first few tournaments.
- Encourage continued platform adoption and repeat usage.
Market Intelligence and Ecosystem Development
- Build a deep understanding of the local sports ecosystem.
- Identify recurring tournaments, influential organizers, academies, associations, and key sporting communities.
- Track participation trends across different sports.
- Monitor competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
- Share market intelligence with the founding team.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build relationships with stakeholders across the sports ecosystem, including:
- Tournament organizers
- Sports academies and coaching centres
- College sports and cultural committees
- Venue owners
- Referees and technical officials
- Sports associations (where relevant)
Product Feedback and Business Insights
Capture and communicate valuable insights including:
- Organizer pain points
- Product usability feedback
- Feature requests
- Pricing sensitivity
- Market trends
- Customer behaviour
Reporting and Execution
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, demos, onboardings, and active tournaments.
- Share weekly updates and key learnings.
- Take ownership of assigned markets and ensure consistent execution.

By the end of your initial tenure, you will have:
Built strong relationships with sports tournament organizers in your assigned market.
Successfully onboarded and activated multiple organizers on the platform.
Helped organizers conduct successful tournaments using our platform.
Developed a strong understanding of the sports ecosystem and organizer behaviour.
Generated meaningful market and product insights that influence business decisions.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and consistent execution.
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal if you:
- Are a final-year MBA student (Sales, Marketing, Operations, General Management) or have up to 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Customer Success.
- Have a genuine passion for sports and sporting communities.
- Have been an athlete, tournament participant, or are actively involved in sports (preferred but not mandatory).
- Are comfortable in a field-based role that involves regularly meeting tournament organizers, building relationships, and driving platform adoption on the ground.
- Enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and working on the ground.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving responsibilities.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
