We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional for the role of Technical Pre-Sales in GIS to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will work closely with our sales and technical teams to engage with potential clients, understand their business requirements, and help position our solutions as the best fit.
Engage with prospects and customers to understand their technical requirements and business needs, providing consultative advice on how our solutions can address their pain points.
Provide solutioning for customer requirements based on GIS and other advanced technologies.
Deliver high-quality technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs, showcasing how our solutions align with their objectives.
Assist in the creation of proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information, including preparing technical documentation, solution architectures, and scope of work.
Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver compelling sales pitches and value propositions, ensuring a clear understanding of the technical aspects of our offerings.
Work with the technical team to design custom solutions based on client requirements, providing guidance on system architecture, integration, and deployment strategies.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, providing them with timely and accurate technical information to support the sales process.
Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product offerings.
Work closely with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure alignment between client needs and product capabilities, providing feedback for product enhancements or customizations.
UG/PG qualification in the GIS/Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics or related fields is preferable.
3-5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role, ideally within the GIS industry.
Development experience in JavaScript / Java / Python is preferable
Experience in working with Esri ArcGIS solutions (Pro, Online, Enterprise levels, Business Analyst, ArcGIS Apps) and other supportive solutions like ArcFM is essential.
Knowledge of both Esri and Open Source GIS solutions is preferred.
Experience in working with private and government clients.
Experience in cross-teams collaboration and problem solving.
Candidates with Esri Technical Certifications will be given preference.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand client needs and craft effective solutions to address their needs.
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and technical demonstration tools (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
