A Telesales Executive drives revenue by contacting prospective and existing customers via telephone to sell products or services, generate leads, and book appointments. They are responsible for meeting daily/monthly targets, delivering persuasive pitches, and handling customer objections.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound/Inbound Calling: Making high-volume calls to new leads (cold calling) and following up on existing leads.
- Sales & Closing: Pitching products/services, negotiating deals, and closing sales over the phone.
- Lead Generation: Identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective clients to fix appointments for field sales teams
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintaining accurate records of customer details, interactions, and purchases in company databases.
- Target Achievement: Hitting or exceeding daily, weekly, or monthly sales quotas and KPIs (e.g., call volume, conversion rates).
- Product Knowledge: Understanding the company's offerings deeply to explain benefits, features, and pricing clearly. Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Persuasion & Negotiation: Strong ability to convince prospects and handle objections confidently.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and work under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
