Job Summary
MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Loni Kalbhor is seeking a talented and enthusiastic PRT Music Teacher to nurture students' musical abilities and foster creativity through vocal and instrumental music. The candidate should be passionate about teaching young learners and capable of creating an engaging and joyful learning environment.
Preference
Local candidates will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach vocal and instrumental music to primary school students.
- Develop students' interest in music, rhythm, and performance.
- Plan and conduct music classes, rehearsals, and practice sessions.
- Prepare students for school assemblies, annual functions, competitions, and cultural events.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork through music activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Coordinate with school staff for cultural and co-curricular activities.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Music or relevant field.
- Certification in Vocal or Instrumental Music preferred.
- B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong musical skills and passion for teaching may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of vocal and instrumental music.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to train students for performances and competitions.
- Creative and student-friendly teaching approach.
