Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Hightouch Engineer / Tech Lead with hands-on experience in Hightouch, Databricks, Reverse ETL, and customer-data activation.
The engineer will own the implementation of Databricks → Hightouch → downstream marketing platforms, including audience creation, journey automation, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Configure Databricks as a Hightouch warehouse source and work with event/customer data.Build and manage Hightouch Models, Audiences, and behavioral audiences.Design and configure Hightouch Journeys, including:Entry/re-entry and exit criteriaDelays and conditional branchingA/B or randomized pathsSuppression, exclusions, and frequency capsConfigure destinations, sync schedules, and incremental vs. full synchronization.Implement and troubleshoot record matching, identifiers, and audience activation.Monitor syncs and investigate failed/rejected records and audience-count discrepancies.Trace data end-to-end and identify where populations are dropped or changed:Databricks → Model → Audience → Journey → Destination → Marketing Platform.Work with marketing and data teams to translate campaign/journey requirements into technical implementations.
Required Skills
7+ years of software/data engineering or MarTech experience.1–2+ years of hands-on Hightouch or comparable Reverse ETL / composable CDP experience.Strong SQL skills.Hands-on Databricks experience, including querying and investigating event tables.Strong understanding of customer data, audiences, data activation, and synchronization.Experience troubleshooting data discrepancies and production sync failures.Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience with Emarsys, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, Tealium, or similar marketing platforms.Experience with email/push campaign activation and customer journey automation.Experience leading technical implementation and client-facing delivery.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
