Job Summary
As a Guest Delight Associate at Woodstock Resorts, Madikeri, you will be the frontline ambassador of our hospitality. You will deliver warm, attentive, and personalized dining experiences to guests visiting our multi-cuisine restaurant and dining venues. Your role is to ensure every guest enjoys excellent food and beverage service, local Kodava warmth, and prompt attention to their needs throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Service & Dining Experience
Welcome and seat guests warmly upon arrival with proper resort greeting standards.
Present menus, offer insightful suggestions, and answer queries regarding ingredients, preparation time, and dietary restrictions.
Promote regional Kodava specialties alongside Indian and international menu offerings.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and promptly input them into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
Serve dishes and beverages adhering to resort service sequence and hygiene standards.
2. Restaurant Operations & Maintenance
Prepare the dining area before meal periods (side-station preparation, table setup, cutlery polishing, and napkin folding).
Clear dishes, sanitize tables, and reset dining areas quickly to maintain a clean environment.
Assist with In-Room Dining (IRDS) orders and outdoor/event dining setups when required.
Coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
3. Guest Satisfaction & Communication
Pay active attention to guest feedback during meals and address immediate concerns professionally.
Inform senior management or the F&B Manager promptly about any guest complaints or special requests.
Escalate opportunities for personalized touches (celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or special dietary needs).
4. Hygiene, Safety & Billing
Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards aligned with resort guidelines.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards) strictly.
Process bills accurately, collect payments (cash/card/UPI/room posting), and ensure correct closing balances.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality (preferred, but equivalent experience is valued).
Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in a 3-star or 4-star resort/hotel environment. Fresh graduates with strong service orientation are welcome.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Kannada is required. Knowledge of Hindi, Malayalam, or Tamil is a strong advantage given the resort's guest demographic.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
