The Production Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end production operations at the Dhanbad plant, ensuring production targets are met with optimum quality, safety, and efficiency. The role includes production planning, manpower management, process optimization, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production schedules
Ensure achievement of production targets with minimal downtime
Monitor capacity utilization and line efficiency
Supervise shopfloor operations and manpower deployment
Ensure SOP adherence across production lines
Drive discipline and productivity on the shopfloor
Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Maintain GMP, hygiene, and safety standards
Support internal and external audits
Identify process gaps and implement improvements
Work on wastage reduction and productivity enhancement
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with maintenance for machine uptime
Work closely with SCM for RM/PM availability
Align with QA and warehouse teams
Track production KPIs (OEE, yield, wastage, downtime)
Prepare daily and monthly production reports
Maintain ERP data accuracy
