Education Qualification: 6+ years of Software Engineering experience. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Position Description: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer proficient in Java along with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including authentication and authorization frameworks. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the front-end interface of applications, ensuring user experience and interface design fidelity.
- Implement server-side logic and database management to handle the back-end functionality of web applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and other developers to plan, design, and develop dynamic, high-quality web applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack, including both client-side and server-side code.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and documentation for both front-end and back-end code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed.
- Have good emotional intelligence and empathy when interacting with others.
- Actively participate in Design Discussions, and Demos.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience with React and other UI-related technologies like TypeScript, CSS, etc.
- Strong experience with Java 8 or newer along with Spring or Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful services.
- Experience with streaming services like Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, or similar.
- Experience integrating IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Keycloak, or similar) into applications and services.
- Understanding secure coding practices, role-based access control (RBAC), and user identity lifecycle management.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Collaborate with Product Management and business partners to understand use case requirements and reporting.
- Adhere to internal development best practices/lifecycle (e.g. Testing, Code Reviews, CI/CD, Documentation)
- Document and showcase feature designs/workflows.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions around product development.
- Stay up to date on industry latest industry trends and design patterns
