Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to do budgeting , pipeline monitoring , market segment analysis , competition analysis . Excellent presentation skills and hands on experience of PowerPoint is must. Supports proactive business development aligned with the division's strategy in countries where business conditions require increased attention and focus. Provides business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio, ensuring sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan. Facilitates activities to drive profitable business growth.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division at Faridabad, India:
You will be mainly accountable for:

Conduct in-depth market research on various segments in India (e.g., renewable integration, refinery expansions). - Spot white spaces for expansion- Handle enlistments and approve vendor list activities.

Map large projects (e.g., power plants, oil refineries) and coordinate with front-end sales & backend teams for lead conversion via SFDC capture teams. - Participate in Marcom activities, including common events and Induction motor-specific events.

Build player maps for end-users. Nurture relationships for trust and repeat business; provide post-deal support, feedback handling, and issue resolution.

Develop tailored proposals for client needs, present solutions and monitor close deals. ( End to end responsibility of offer preparation-order closure for targeted cases).

Coordinate with sales, marketing, product, and finance for strategy execution; provide feedback on product gaps and features. - Share mentoring duties with subordinates & sales teams.

Monitor trends and competitors, represent at conferences and trade shows.
Qualifications for the role-
Full time engineers in Electrical or mechanical field.

5 to 8 years of experience in high power motors background or electrical capital good industry.

Must have basic awareness of consultants and EPCs playing major role in various segments. Open to travel extensively.

Excellent presentation and communication skills. Hands on experience in PowerPoint, MS Excel.

Supports the collaboration between Marketing and Sales teams, functions, global product groups, regions, factories, and relevant stakeholders

Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.

Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.
