Job description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented, experienced, and detail-oriented Product Design Engineer to join our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical design skills, experience in drafting, and a deep understanding of product development and engineering processes. This role requires proficiency in creating 2D and 3D designs and drawings, focusing on sheet metal fabrications and mechanical/electronic products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Drafting:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor to meet production requirements.
- Ensure all designs are accurate, clear, and align with industry standards and company specifications.
- Mechanical Design Expertise:
- Apply strong knowledge of mechanical design basics and practices, particularly in sheet metal fabrications.
- Collaborate with the clients/engineering team to develop concepts, finalize designs, and produce prototypes
- Product Development & Engineering Process:
- Engage in the complete product development lifecycle, including concept, design freeze, sample making, and validation tasks for mechanical/electronic products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with production teams to support the manufacturing process and resolve any design-related issues.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough reviews of designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical specifications.
- Participate in the validation and testing of prototypes to verify design integrity and performance.
Skills:

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Finite Element Calculations & Analysis using ANSYS or Mathcad.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
