Responsibilities & Requirements:
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Identify trends, audience behavior shifts, and platform algorithm changes to keep strategy current.
- Define and track KPIs for follower growth, engagement, reach, and conversion from social channels.
Content & Execution
- Plan, write, and schedule posts, working closely with design and content teams for supporting creative.
- Manage day-to-day publishing, community engagement, and timely responses across all social handles.
- Run and optimize paid social.
- Stay on top of platform-native formats (Reels, Shorts, Carousels, Stories) to maximize organic reach.
Community & Brand Engagement
- Monitor brand mentions, comments, and DMs; manage community engagement and escalate issues as needed.
- Identify and engage with relevant influencers, partners, and industry voices to expand brand reach.
- Support employee advocacy and leadership personal-branding efforts on LinkedIn where relevant.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports covering growth, engagement, and campaign ROI.
- Use platform analytics and social listening tools to generate actionable insights.
- Present recommendations for continuous improvement based on data and competitive benchmarking.
Qualifying criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in social media strategy or management (agency or in-house).
- Proven track record of growing social channels and driving measurable engagement.
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, content formats, and best practices across major networks.
- Hands-on experience with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms.
- Basic understanding of paid social campaign setup and optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Familiarity with B2B, SaaS, or tech industry social dynamics preferred.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally with design and content teams.
