Required Experience:
B.Tech: 2 – 7 Years
Diploma: 10 – 17 Years
Required Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma (Tool & Die / Mechanical) – Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
- Work independently in press dies (skin panel) fitting & assembly.
- Work planning as per targets given.
- Ensure the availability of parts before the start of die fitting activity.
- Co-ordinate with procurement, machining, inspection and quality sections.
- Plan weekly, monthly fitting schedule and check sheet updation.
- Monitor and strive to work for reduction of rework/rejection.
- Attend trials at customer end and troubleshoot the problems faced.
- Work for the reduction of fitting hours & cost through Kaizen.
- Ensure the safety of workplace and do timely KYT, HHT.
- Monitor die hours and regular time sheet data updation.
- Ensure proper 5s in the work area.
Competencies / Skills:
- Good drawing reading skills & knowledge of Fits & Tolerances.
- Knowledge of press die manufacturing process and tool room machines
- Knowledge of die materials and heat treatment.
- Knowledge of spotting & trial process and press machines.
- Knowledge of panel accuracy/quality improvement decisions and implementation.
- Knowledge of press panel defects and countermeasures
- Good analytical skills
- Very good problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office productivity software
- Basic knowledge of CNC machines.
- Basic knowledge of design software - UG NX
- Effective verbal and written communication skill.
Preferred Organization:
- 4-wheeler OEMs with Die/machining/press/mold experience: KIA, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, VW, M&M, Renault, Nissan, MG, TATA, Bajaj, Eicher, Force Motors, etc.
- Tier-1 suppliers of dies/press part/plastic parts for OEMs.
