Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Technical Door Installation Supervisor to oversee the installation of fire exit doors at project sites. The ideal candidate should have experience in supervising installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of fire exit doors at commercial, industrial, and residential project sites.
- Ensure installations are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and relevant fire safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Allocate tasks to installation technicians and monitor daily site activities.
- Conduct site measurements and verify installation readiness before work begins.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance.
- Resolve technical issues related to installation and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain installation reports, site progress updates, and material usage records.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams for timely material availability.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related technical field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in supervising door installation, preferably fire-rated or fire exit doors.
- Knowledge of fire door installation standards, hardware, and site execution practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and installation details.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or project management software is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with fire-rated doors, panic bars, door closers, hinges, and access control hardware.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and site safety procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
