About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented GIS Analyst to join our geospatial team. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in GIS data processing, mapping, spatial analysis, and geospatial database management. The role involves working on various mapping and geospatial projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform GIS mapping, digitization, spatial analysis, and data validation activities.
- Develop, maintain, and manage geodatabases and spatial datasets.
- Process and analyze satellite imagery, orthophotos, and other geospatial data.
- Prepare thematic maps, reports, and presentations based on project requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on GIS deliverables.
- Work with coordinate systems, map projections, and georeferencing techniques.
- Support project teams in data collection, analysis, and visualization activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain proper documentation and project records.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and cartography.
- Experience in handling shapefiles, geodatabases, raster, and vector datasets.
- Knowledge of image interpretation, geo referencing, and map production.
- Exposure to Remote Sensing, LiDAR, Drone Mapping, or Orthomosaic projects will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geo informatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related disciplines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with 2–4 years of relevant GIS experience.
- Immediate joiners or candidates serving a short notice period will be highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outputs within timelines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
