Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and certified Project Manager to lead end-to-end project execution for food manufacturing and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The candidate should have strong experience in infrastructure development, plant setup, utility installation, production equipment procurement and commissioning, regulatory compliance, and project management. The role requires managing projects from concept to commissioning while ensuring completion within budget, timeline, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
- Lead greenfield and brownfield projects for food or pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.
- Develop project scope, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, architects, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
Infrastructure Development
- Manage civil, structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and utility infrastructure projects.
- Ensure facility design complies with GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, CDSCO, FDA, WHO-GMP, and other applicable standards.
- Supervise construction activities and ensure quality workmanship.
Equipment & Plant Setup
- Manage equipment selection, procurement, installation, qualification, and commissioning.
- Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
- Ensure smooth integration of production lines, utilities, and automation systems.
- Support production readiness and startup activities.
Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with food safety, pharmaceutical, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and consultants for approvals and certifications.
- Maintain complete project documentation, validation records, and compliance reports.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Monitor project expenditures and control costs.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to achieve optimum project value.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead cross-functional project teams.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide management updates.
- Manage contractor performance and ensure adherence to project requirements.
Quality, Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture at project sites.
- Implement quality assurance measures throughout project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Project Management Certification is mandatory, such as:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Certified Project Manager (CPM)
- Equivalent internationally recognized certification
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
