Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer to manage, coordinate, and supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for construction and building projects. The role involves ensuring that MEP installations are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, and other MEP services.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors during installation and testing activities.
- Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
- Coordinate MEP services with civil, structural, architectural, and other project teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure MEP activities are completed within the agreed schedule.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, clashes, and deviations.
- Prepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain relevant project records.
- Monitor material requirements, delivery schedules, and proper storage of MEP materials.
- Support quantity measurements, BOQ verification, variations, and cost-control activities.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and participate in safety inspections.
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve site technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
- Relevant professional certification or local engineering registration, where applicable.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building-services installations.
- Good understanding of construction practices, relevant codes, and safety standards.
Experience
- Typically 3–7 years of relevant MEP/construction experience.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experience coordinating multiple MEP disciplines is an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,142.30 - ₹40,452.52 per month
