Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Marketing & Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion within the chemical industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of chemical products, market dynamics, customer requirements, and industry trends. Experience in B2B sales, marketing, and business development within the chemical sector is mandatory.
Minimum 3-5 Years (Mandatory experience in the Chemical Industry)
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential customers.
- Generate new leads and convert them into long-term customers.
- Responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Identify and develop opportunities across domestic markets and support export market development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct customer visits and provide technical-commercial support as required.
Market Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and industry developments.
- Prepare market intelligence reports and recommend strategic actions.
- Identify new applications and growth opportunities for existing and new products.
Customer Relationship Management
- Manage key customer accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, principals, suppliers, and channel partners.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, technical, and accounts teams to ensure timely delivery and service.
- Handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Develop long-term customer relationships to enhance retention and business growth.
Commercial & Collection Management
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close business opportunities.
- Follow up on customer payments and coordinate with the accounts team to ensure timely collections.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and support receivables management.
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies and collection targets.
Marketing Activities
- Develop promotional campaigns, product positioning, and branding initiatives.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, trade fairs, seminars, conferences, and networking events.
- Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and product literature.
- Work closely with principals, suppliers, and channel partners for business development activities.
Reporting & Planning
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
- Track KPIs and implement corrective measures to achieve targets.
- Provide regular business updates and market feedback to management.
Pay: From ₹600,000.00 per year
