seeking a dedicated and clinically motivated Registrar to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). You will work under the supervision of senior Consultants to provide expert care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. This role is ideal for a doctor looking to refine their pediatric critical care skills in a supportive, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Monitoring: Perform continuous monitoring of critically ill pediatric patients, including vital signs, fluid balance, and neurological status.
- Procedures: Assist with and perform bedside procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central venous line placement, arterial line insertion, and lumbar punctures under senior supervision.
- Emergency Response: Act as an active member of the Pediatric Code Blue and rapid response team.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate medical records, provide regular updates to parents/guardians, and coordinate care plans with nursing and auxiliary staff.
- Academic Participation: Participate in daily rounds, morbidity/mortality meetings, and departmental clinical training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS + MD (Pediatrics) / DNB (Pediatrics).
- Preference: Candidates with Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care (FNB/IFPCCM/equivalent) or experience in a busy PICU are highly preferred.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in Pediatrics or PICU settings.
- Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Strong clinical diagnostic skills, calm demeanor under pressure, and a deep commitment to pediatric patient safety.
Pay: Up to ₹150,000.00 per month
