Job Description – Service Manager
Location: Roverz Motors, Mavelikara
Position Summary
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the service department, ensuring high customer satisfaction, efficient workshop management, achievement of service targets, and effective coordination with technicians, service advisors, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the service department.
- Ensure timely and quality completion of vehicle service and repair jobs.
- Monitor workshop productivity and service performance.
- Achieve service revenue, labor, and spare parts targets.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
- Supervise Service Advisors, Technicians, Warranty Incharge, and support staff.
- Ensure proper job card management and service documentation.
- Monitor warranty claim processes and manufacturer compliance requirements.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Ensure proper implementation of safety and housekeeping practices in the workshop.
- Coordinate with Sales, Spare Parts, and Accounts Departments for smooth operations.
- Conduct team meetings and provide guidance to service staff.
- Prepare and submit departmental reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automobile service operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and customer handling abilities.
- Knowledge of workshop management systems and service processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
