Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced multi-cuisine restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on operational expertise, and a proven track record in handling staff and delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end restaurant operations including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Ensure smooth service during peak hours while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and presentation across multiple cuisines
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff including chefs, stewards, and support teams
- Create staff schedules, manage attendance, and handle performance evaluations
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve employee conflicts effectively
Customer Experience
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Financial & Inventory Control
- Manage daily sales, cash handling, and billing procedures
- Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and minimize wastage
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement
Compliance & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and local health & safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the restaurant
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in multi-cuisine establishments
- Strong knowledge of Indian and international cuisines
- Proven ability to manage large teams and high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in premium or high-volume restaurants in Bangalore
- Strong vendor management and cost-control experience
- Leadership training or certifications in hospitality management
