The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests, employees, and facilities in the amusement park. The role involves monitoring, inspecting, and enforcing safety regulations and emergency procedures to create a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of rides, attractions, and park facilities to ensure safety compliance.
- Monitor and maintain safety protocols, procedures, and standards across the park.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures immediately.
- Lead and conduct safety training sessions for staff, including emergency response and fire drills.
- Collaborate with ride technicians, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain updated records of inspections, audits, and training activities.
- Coordinate with external authorities during audits or in the event of emergencies.
- Promote a safety-first culture across the park.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in safety roles, preferably in theme parks, large venues, or industrial settings.
- Certification in safety practices (like NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and risk assessment methods.
- Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stay calm and act swiftly during emergencies.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor and indoor work environments within the amusement park.
- May involve working during weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on park operations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
